For professionals
Name your rate. Keep all of it.
Our fee is charged to the client, on top of your rate. You see exactly what that fee is — on this site before you start, and on every invoice after. No cut from your rate. No second price list.
What you receive.
| Situation | You receive | The client pays |
|---|---|---|
| YRproject finds the project | your rate, in full | rate + 20% to 500 h · 15% to 1,500 h · 12% above |
| Assignment under three months, or executive profile | your rate, in full | rate + 20% flat |
| You bring the client and do the project | your rate + 5% | the same scale |
| You came in through the client | your rate, in full | agreed with the client, shown on your invoice |
Example: €140 an hour, 1,200 hours. You receive €168,000. The client pays €196,700, an average of €163.92 per hour. YRproject keeps €28,700. If you brought the client: you receive €176,400, the client pays the same. Every line of arithmetic is on the open book.
Five percent, twice.
Once
Bring a client and do the project yourself. You receive 5% on top of your own rate for as long as the project runs.
Twice
If YRproject later places other professionals at the organisation you introduced, you receive 5% over their hours — for 24 months from the first invoiced hour, also after your own project has ended.
Paid out of our fee. The other professionals keep their full rate. One introduction per client; the first registration counts. If nobody else works there, there is nothing to share.
See it for your rate.
Move the rate and the hours. This is the same bar the client sees.
When you are paid.
- We invoice the client monthly, on your approved hours.
- The client pays within 30 days.
- You are paid within 5 working days after we receive that payment.
- Every new client gets a credit check before you start.
- If a client is more than 30 days overdue, the project is suspended. Your exposure stays capped.
How you work.
Every assignment is set up as a project: a described result, deliverables and dates. You decide how you do the work. You name your own rate. You are free to work for others.
What registering involves.
Create an account.
Name, e-mail address, password. Confirm your e-mail within 48 hours.
Upload your CV.
PDF, 10 MB at most. Only YRproject sees it.
Set your discipline and availability.
We ask you to reconfirm availability twice a year, with one click.
That's it.
When a project fits, we call you. Your CV goes to a client only after you say yes, for that project, by name.
Your profile is never public. There is no browsable list of professionals on this site, and we publish no counts. You can export or delete everything yourself, at any time. Details: privacy notice. Registering obliges you to nothing and guarantees no assignment.
Is there an admission test?
No generic one. Requirements depend on the assignment: a commissioning lead on a 2 GW topside needs different papers from a document controller at a plant. We vet against what the client's project asks for. A person reads your CV. Nothing is rejected automatically.

What we ask of you.
- Keep your availability current.
- For two years, no direct contracts outside YRproject with clients you met through us.
- If a client has a justified complaint about quality, you put it right, within the limits in the agreement.

Common questions.
Do I pay anything?
No. The fee is charged to the client, on top of your rate.
Can the client see my rate?
Yes. That is the point. And you see what the client pays.
Will you negotiate my rate down?
You name it. If a client's budget does not reach it, we tell you the numbers and you decide.
My current agency will not tell me their margin. Is that normal?
It is common. Run the Margin Check with what you know.
Can I apply to a project without registering first?
Yes. Applying creates your account in the same step.
