About
YRproject supplies independent technical professionals to projects in energy, offshore, marine, renewables, engineering and construction. The service is familiar. The price list being public is not. YRproject reads as YouR project — yours, whichever side of the table you sit on.
In contracting, three parties do business and only one of them knows all the numbers. The client knows what it pays. The professional knows what arrives. The party in the middle knows both, and the difference. We think that is the wrong way round.

Both sides see the same invoice. The full table, the variants and seven worked examples are on the open book.
The margin is one thing this market keeps to itself. Where the work is heading is another. So we publish that too.

The open book: the fee scale, the hour counter per project, the invoice both sides read.
A certificate passport with per-site requirements. Planned, not live.
Alongside: Ask the North Sea answers questions from public sources with citations, and the Project Crew Forecast draws a staffing curve for a project you describe. Use them whether or not you ever hire through us.
No numbers of professionals, clients or placements. They tell you nothing about your project.
Professionals are not on display. A CV goes to a client only with the professional's consent, for one project.
Postings are the client's own text, with the facts added.
Where we use AI, it reads and proposes. A person decides.
Every assignment is set up as a project: a described result, deliverables and dates. Requirements depend on the assignment, so there is no generic admission test. We vet for the project at hand.
YRproject was founded by Dirk Baaijen after years of working in and around complex projects — with clients, consultancies and independent professionals.
The same pattern kept appearing: everyone talked about transparency, while the commercial relationship between client, intermediary and professional often was not.
That experience became the starting point for YRproject. Not to remove the intermediary, but to make its role and its price visible.
