For clients
You see what the professional receives. To the cent.
Independent technical professionals for your project — at a fee that is public and steps down as the project runs. You pay the professional's rate plus our fee, as two lines on one invoice. The professional sees the same invoice you do.
What you pay.
| Your project | Fee on top of the professional's rate |
|---|---|
| Hours 1 to 500 | 20% |
| Hours 501 to 1,500 | 15% |
| Hours 1,501 and beyond | 12% |
| Shorter than three months, or an executive profile | 20% flat |
Example: a professional at €140 an hour, 1,200 hours. The professional receives €168,000. Our fee is €14,000 (500 at 20%) + €14,700 (700 at 15%) = €28,700. You pay €196,700 — an average of €163.92 per hour. All seven worked examples are on the open book.
If you already have the professional
Sometimes you have found the person yourself. What we do and what it costs are then agreed together, per assignment — it depends on the duration, the hours per week, the function and the rate.
It is settled before the assignment starts, it does not change while it runs, and it is a line of its own on every invoice. The professional sees that invoice too.
See it for your project.
Move the rate and the hours. This is the same bar the professional sees.
Get it on one page.
Rate, hours and the fee scale as an open-book quote for one professional: what the professional receives, what YRproject keeps, what you pay. A one-page PDF to forward to purchasing. Nothing you type is stored.
Why a visible fee is in your interest.
You know where your budget goes.
On a day rate of €1,000, you can see whether €830 or €600 reaches the person doing the work. That difference decides who says yes to your project.
A professional who keeps the full rate stays.
Nobody finds out halfway through what the agency kept.
The fee falls as your project runs.
Our work is front-loaded — searching, vetting, contracting. You stop paying for it once it is done.
One price list for everyone.
The percentages are public, so your fee is the same one every other client sees.
- A Dutch interim marketplace director puts intermediary margins at "mostly between 15% and 25% per hour worked", up to around 40% when intermediaries stack. consultancy.nl. Those margins are rarely on the invoice. Ours is.
How it works.
Describe the project.
The result you need, the role, start date, duration, location, certificates. A form, five minutes. You get a status link straight away.
We search and vet for this assignment.
Requirements depend on the assignment, so we vet against yours: experience on comparable work, certificates, references. A person does this, not a score.
You meet the professional and see the numbers.
Rate, fee, total. No surprise later.
We contract it as a project.
A described result, deliverables and dates. One agreement with you, a matching one with the professional.
Monthly invoice on approved hours.
Two lines: the rate and the fee. Payment term 30 days. The professional is paid within 5 working days after we receive your payment.
Post a project on the site.
Send us your own text — PDF, Word or an e-mail. It goes on the site in your words, with the facts professionals look for: start date, duration, hours per week, contract type, certificates. You choose per posting whether your name is shown.
Roles we are asked for: E&I supervisors · commissioning · construction managers · piping · project engineers and project managers · planners and project controls · estimators · QA/QC · HSE · BIM modellers · subsurface and wells · maintenance · document control.
Sectors: Offshore, Onshore, Naval & Marine, Renewable energy, Energy & power / grids, Water, Process

Common questions.
Can we negotiate the fee?
The scale is public and the same for every client. What changes your fee is the length of the project: the longer it runs, the lower the average.
We already have the professional. Do we pay 20%?
No. What we do and what it costs are then agreed together, per assignment — it depends on the duration, the hours per week, the function and the rate. It is settled before the assignment starts, it does not change while it runs, and it is a line of its own on every invoice. The professional sees that invoice too.
Do you show us CVs from a database?
No. There are no browsable profiles. You describe the project; we propose people for it, with their consent, by name.
Who is our contract party?
YRproject B.V., the Netherlands, KvK 97813974.
Is the professional's rate negotiable?
The professional names the rate. You see it before you decide. If it does not fit your budget, say so, and we look for someone whose rate does.
